Co-Enzyme Q10 is an essential vitamin-like substance found in every cell of your body. It works as a key catalyst in the production of energy within your cells. If your levels of Q10 start dropping so does your general health. Scientists investigating the role of Q10 in human biochemistry have estimated that once the body levels of Q10 become more than 25 per cent deficient many disease states start to flourish. These can range from high blood pressure and heart attacks to deficiencies of the immune system.

Mitochondria are found within all cells of our bodies, they are responsible for the majority of energy production within the cell. It is important to use a Q10 in a good base, and the most stable base is in a dry powdered form, such as phosphates. Energy is termed as ATP - Adenosine triphosphate (3 phosphates) and the more phosphates you have available then the more energy (ATP) able to be generated.
